This course develops knowledge and skills for students in relation to event operational planning and compliance with regulations. Events include business (conferences, exhibitions, promotions), sports and entertainment events. On completion of this course, participants will develop a detailed event proposal including marketing, financial management, human resources and risk management components.
Entry requirements:
Students should complete year 12 or equivalent, Certificate III in Events or related area or relevant industry experience for minimum of three years in related industry and must satisfy academic IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL (iBT) score 88 or Certificate III in English for Further Studies at TAFE NSW or equivalent for Diploma-to-Degree courses (DIAC 573 visa requirement. They are also required to complete Diploma in Events embedded.
