Course description:
This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills relating to manual and computerised bookkeeping, financial reporting, costing, budgeting, taxation, financial accounting, auditing and financial management. On completion of the taxation modules and two years relevant experience students may be eligible register as tax agents.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must have a satisfactory completion of the Swinburne English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Level 2 program with a teacher's recommendation for the required level of study; or, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0; or, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5); or, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 51 with no band less than 13.

This campus is set in a scenic 24-hectare rural setting with panoramic views across the Lillydale Lake to the Yarra Valley hills and is at the gateway to this popular wine and tourism region. The modern purpose-built Student Village has 100 beds available in 25 self-catering apartments. Each apartment contains four or five separately keyed bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge room. Sixty four bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and thirty six bedrooms have "twin-share" bathrooms. A number of ensuite apartments have wheelchair access.

Venue Description:
This campus at Hawthorn is home to the University's central administration, many of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs, TAFE courses and short courses. It is also the site of many of Swinburne's research and training centres. At Hawthorn it is possible to do everything from a pre-apprenticeship to a PhD. The campus is located seven kilometers east of the city of Melbourne, and is easily accessible by train and tram. It is situated in the heart of Hawthorn and is close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Students enjoy an extensive library, bookshop, cafeterias and sports centre.
