Course description:
This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for a career in manufacturing and mechanical control engineering. The course also provides a high level of training at the para-professional level for the mechanical and manufacturing industry with major emphasis on automation systems. Students specialise in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering.
Entry requirements:
Students should have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent including Maths (any). and they should have completed the Swinburne English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Level 2 program with a teacher's recommendation for the required level of study or obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0 or a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5; or a TOEFL (Computer-based) minimum score of 196 (with Written Writing score of 4.5) or a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 71 with no band less than 20.
