This course produces performers and writers for the commercial music industry. This VET course is offered by WAAPA as a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework. The Units of Competence from the nationally accredited Music (CUS01) Industry Training Package are clustered within the course delivery units.
Entry requirements:
Students need to have completed Certificate IV in Music or equivalent qualification/experience in a relevant stream of study. It is expected that applicants would normally have achieved a level of education equivalent to completion of year 12. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS an overall band score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 6) or TOEFL scores: 550 (PBT) including TWE of 5, 213 (CBT) with an essay rating of 5 and 80 (IBT) with no individual score less than 20. They should have obtained GCE O Levels with Grade C or better or other acceptable qualifications from ECU International.
