Course description:

This course covers a wide range of subject topics including chemistry, biochemistry, pathology, symptomatology, diagnosis and pharmacology. You will learn about herbal medicine, nutrition, homoeopathy and iridology. Importantly, participants will also gain the practical skills by working with clients. With a solid foundations in naturopathic treatment modalities and the medical sciences, participants will be prepared for professional practice as a Naturopath, Naturopathic Practictioner, Natural Medicine Practitioner or Natural Therapist. The course requires the successful completion of 26 units of competency. This includes 12 common, 12 specialisation and two elective units. The nominal duration for each unit of competency includes hours in lectures, tutorials, seminars, demonstrations and supervised clinical practice.

Entry requirements:

Applicants should have completed NSW Higher school Certificate or equivalent; or should be 21 years or over at course commencement. Also an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required.

Authenticated documents must be: original documents (i.e. testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate to an authorised Think: Education Group representative, copies of the original documents (i.e. testamur and transcript of results) provided by the candidate which have been either: notarised by a Justice of the Peace or equivalent authority in the country of origin or verified as a true and correct copy of the original documents by an approved Think: Education Group representative.
