Course description:

This program is all about flight. It's the idea, design, development and production of aircraft and spacecraft that will fly within the atmosphere and beyond. They study the basics of propulsion and the application of gas dynamics to internal flows, the principles of mechanics and analysis techniques to ensure a craft's structural integrity, fluid motion around a body moving at speeds, and techniques for aerospace vehicle guidance.

Entry requirements:

Students must have English, Mathematics SL or Mathematics HL or Further Mathematics SL and one of Chemistry or Physics at a minimum of grade four at standard level. Students must also satisfy IELTS a minimum test score of 6.5 overall, at least 6.5 in Reading, Listening and at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking, Paper-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 580, a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5, Computer-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 237 in the computer-based TOEFL, an Essay Rating (ER) of at least 4.5, Internet-based TOEFL a score of at least 90 overall, a Writing score of at least 22 and no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test.
