This program is designed to build on the knowledge of science, technology and management that students have developed in their pass degree and in the areas of their chosen field. Students undertake an honours project to research and report on a defined topic in their field. Available plans include animal production; the equine industry; parks and wildlife management; plants; food science and the environment.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed Bachelor of Applied Science with a GPA of at least 5.0 or satisfy the executive dean that the student is suitably qualified to undertake honours. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS Academic: Overall Score of 6.5 and Writing score of 6; TOEFL (CBT): 237 with Essay Rating score of 4.5, TOEFL (PBT): 570 with TWE (Test of written English) score of 5 and TOEFL (IBT): Overall Score of 90 and Writing score of 21.

Students who are currently undertaking year 12 in Australia must apply through Queensland Admission Tertiary Centre. Students who are not currently studying in Australia must send in the completed application form to The Manager, International Admissions Section, The University of Queensland, Level 2, JD Story Building, Brisbane, Queensland, 4072, Australia along with the following documents: certified copies of all transcripts of results, award certificates, grading systems, and translations (if required); proof of English language proficiency and documents for credit assessment. A non-refundable application fee of $100 has to be enclosed along with the application form.
