Course description:

The BASS is an undergraduate degree which can be taken with either a specialisation in counselling, management, coaching or without a specialisation. If the students undertake the BASS they can enroll in a generic first year then choose the specialisation they are interested in before they start their second year. This gives them time to gain an understanding of the areas that interest them the most that they are able to make a more informed decision when it comes to selecting the area that they want to specialise in.

Entry requirements:

Applicants must have UAI 65, OP14 or equivalent or they should be 21 years and over to enroll in this course and applicants whose secondary and/or tertiary education was undertaken in a language other than English will need to provide the results of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. The minimum English language proficiency requirement for entry to the College is an IELTS overall band score of 6.0.

Application details:

Students should complete the application form and attach certified copies of all academic qualifications (including school results), English language test results (if applicable), employment documents (if applicable), and a 150 word statement describing how a student interest in an ACAP course relates to their career aspirations. These copies can be certified by: A Justice of the Peace, An authorised ACAP representative or, An Australian Diplomatic Mission, Police Officer or Lawyer/Solicitor. Students should send the completed application forms to ACAP Admissions, Locked Bag 11, Strawberry Hills. Students can also apply through online.
