Course description:

The diploma is offered in two parts. Part 1 is equivalent to Australian Year 12 or Foundation Year program and Part 2 is equivalent to first year of an undergraduate degree and provides entry to the second year of selected Monash University degrees. Students may enter one of the following Monash University destination degrees after the diploma: Bachelor of Psychology (with Honours). Students are required to complete a wide range of compulsory subjects covering all aspects of Health Science. They include Psychology, Working with People and Human Neurobiology.

Entry requirements:

Students must have a equivalent Australian Year 12. English was the language of instruction in secondary or tertiary studies completed, A satisfactory level of performance in an approved English language subject was achieved at Australian Year 11 or 12 (or equivalent). Other English language proficiency requirements are IELTS: Part 1: 5.5 (no band lower than 5.0), Part 2: 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL (including Test of Written English): Part 1: 527, TWE 4, Part 2: 550, TWE 4.5, TOEFL (including Essay Writing): Part 1: 197, ER 4, Part 2: 213, ER 5.
