Course summary
After achievement of the Diploma of Kahuna Bodywork the graduate is able to provide Kahuna Therapeutic Bodywork at own clinic or any resort, clinic or spa. The Units of competence for Diploma of Kahuna Bodywork: HLTCOM503B Manage a practice, HLTCOM502B Develop professional expertise, CHCORG28A Reflect and improve upon professional practice, HLTHIR501A Maintain an effective health work environment, HLTAP501A Analyse health information, KSB06B Plan the Kahuna Therapeutic Bodywork strategy, KSB07B Apply the Kahuna Therapeutic Bodywork assessment framework, KSB08B Perform Kahuna Therapeutic Bodywork health assessment, KSB09B Provide Kahuna Therapeutic Bodywork treatment. Students are expected to attend 2 residential workshops of 10 - 12 days duration within a 12 months period, with home studies in between workshops. A 1 week student clinic is part of the course.
