Course description:
This program provides graduates with opportunities to enter the golf and sport industries. The program is primarily designed for students who wish to develop their golf skills and techniques, to pursue a career as a golf coach, and who desire a formal sport qualification that will be recognised by the golf industry and clients worldwide. The program includes regular golf lessons at AGA's teaching facility based at the Robin a Woods golf course, as well as on-course lessons and membership at two of Australia’s leading golfing facilities Robina Woods and the Colonial golf courses. Formal study provide students with knowledge and skills in the areas of developing, managing and marketing business projects, exercise science and gym work, golf coaching, golf equipment maintenance, in addition to theoretical and practical golf skills and techniques, including participating in regular tournaments with professional golfers to improve their skills in a competitive environment.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed Year 12 or its equivalent. They must be able to demonstrate suitable golf skills in the areas of practical skills as well as knowledge of tactics, strategies and application of rules. They should also have an English level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent, with no individual score lower than 5.0.
