Course description:

This double-degree course (20 units) aims to provide a broad-based foundation in business and management, while providing existing and aspiring managers with the opportunity of developing specialist knowledge and expertise in risk management. MBA studies cover the major business disciplines - business law, economics, accounting, finance, marketing, business analysis, management and leadership, information management, international business and strategic management. Risk Management studies include an introduction to risk principles, risk financing and treasury management, risk control and the law, quantitative methods for risk analysis, the principles of risk transfer, insurance law and case studies, as well as a choice of electives.

Entry requirements:

Students need to have completed a degree from a recognised tertiary institution with an average grade of credit or above, and two years of relevant full-time post-degree managerial or professional work experience. Students must also satisfy IELTS a minimum test score of 6.5 overall, at least 6.5 in Reading, Listening and at least 6.0 in Writing and Speaking, Paper-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 580, a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5, Computer-based TOEFL a minimum test score of 237 in the computer-based TOEFL, an Essay Rating (ER) of at least 4.5, Internet-based TOEFL a score of at least 90 overall, a Writing score of at least 22 and no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test.
