Course description:
In this course, students will develop critical skills for becoming an effective general manager: The objectives of this course is as follows: cognitive skills required to diagnose current organisational performance and to develop recommendations for future action; communication skills (both written and oral) required to influence others and persuade them of appropriate courses of action; self-reflective skills required to assess personal development needs and team working skills required to work effectively with others in making decisions and implementing strategies.
Entry requirements:
Students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study. The undergraduate degree must be from a recognised tertiary institution. They should also satisfy the following English Language requirements: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL (IBT): 90 overall with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL (PBT): 577 overall with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); Combined Universities Language Test (CULT): 70 overall with a minimum score of 17.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing and UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course (UEEC): successful completion of the UEEC with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component.

Students should send in the completed application from along with original or certified copies of the required documents (only original copies of TOEFL test results will be accepted) and an application fee of $100 to The University of New South Wales, The Direct Admissions Office, UNSW, Sydney, 2052, Australia. Students can also apply online. The application fee for applying online is $50. Applications submitted without an application fee will not be processed.
