Course description:

This course helps students to improve the business skills, perform the current job more effectively and expand the career options. Students can specialise in areas such as accounting, corporate governance, family business, finance, financial planning, human resource management, information systems, insurance, law, marketing, risk management and supply chain management, and help in advance career through studies in a broad range of topics relating to all aspects of organisational management and the development of creative, analytical and interpersonal capabilities crucial to business leadership. The specialisation in this course is Family Business.

Entry requirements:

Students must have a first degree and a minimum of two years' relevant work experience. Applicants who do not hold a degree and have a minimum of seven years' relevant work experience may apply to enter the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration. Those who demonstrate a satisfactory level of performance may apply to enter the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration or the MBA. They must also possess an overall band score of 6 or better in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test, a score of 213 or better (essay rating 4.5) in the computer-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL CBT), a score of 79 or better (writing score 21) in the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT), a pass in English at year 12 in senior secondary school studies in Australia or in an Australian year 12 program conducted overseas, general Certificate of Education (GCE) A-level: a grade of C or better in the General Paper (English), International Baccalaureate: a minimum of 4 in the English A1 or A2 (Higher and Standard level) or a minimum of 5 in English B (Higher level) and a satisfactory completion of an equivalent secondary school qualification.
