My parents want me to study this course, so when I come back to my home country, I can open a restaurant. In order to succeed in Australian education, you need to study very hard because English is not your first language, you need to try twice as hard.
The selection process is not difficult. When I finished high school, I decided to study overseas, and Australia was my choice. My parents supported me and I came here to study. I was helped by the IDP staff and they were very successful.
The scholarship are availlable to limited number of students. I did not apply for one, as I think I would not have the chance.
The course is very easy and applicable. We had some practical sessions of the course. I spent about 40 hours to study at TAFE and at home. The teachers are all friendly. I had all the help that I need.
Sydney is a very big city. I enjoy the local area very much - there is so much to explore. The fellow students and the locals are very friendly. Accommodation is very expensive. I shared the unit with another student. I am also working part time as a waiter to earn extra money and to have some work experience.
My job prospect will definitely increase thanks to my studies. I will be keeping in touch with friends after the course finishes. I will join the alumni association. I am still studying.
