One of the best decisions i made was by selecting deakin over other universities for pursuing my academics.The university has a great campus and a wonderful community of people who study there.Before you go for any universities if possible speak to past students who have graduated from the university as well as do your own research as well.From what i can say is deakin is one of the most reputable universities.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I went through an educational agent.They are very well organized and do help you out according to your needs and preferences.The process becomes a lot harder if you do it yourself instead of getting assistance from these professionals who know ins and out of this process.They selection process was very easy did not do much just gave my academic transcript and got selected.Gaining visa was a pain.It is very time consuming and if one of your documents are not clear its takes one hell of a time.So be careful before applying for your visa

Deakin India office only called few students informing about scholarships after reviewing academic transcripts apart from that i really dont know much.Its better to secure your own finances instead of looking for a scholarship unless and until you are brilliant in academics and can prove it by showing your transcripts.

The course is very well structured according to the needs and demand of the industry.Deakin also provide dual degree,that is specializing in two fields by doing extra units.Which gives you a competitive edge over other students from different universities.And apart from that deakin is a very reputable university to pursue your academics.You usually have to put in about 35 hrs of studies a week including all the lecturers and time taken out for research work for your assignments.There are language and learning advisors available who provides counseling to students regarding academics.

Deakin has a lot of international students so its easy to go along with students and settle down.Its feels like home.Students union are very expensive membership and not worth while joining them.The students are friendly and local people are nice.Accommodation could be a issue when you arrive but universities takes care of it in the beginning. The university also provides part time work to fellow students who are interested in unversity during vacations.Dont know much about it cause i got a nice job.

After completing the course my chances of landing a job are very good as i have been in touch with alumni and they have been a real support and have been fun interacting with them.I feel confident that future is bright.The alumni also gives you valuable feedback and suggestions and its definitely your time keeoing in touch with your alumni association.
