I am loving my life here at deakin. All i can say to the new comers is , live life king size at deakin.
I cam through an agent, pretty much hassle free, very easy. If you wanna come here to deakin, do it through an agent, it will save you time and you can be assured of a place.
No idea about fundings and scholarships. You can find them once you get to Deakin. If you are planning to earn your fees here and study, then don't come. You wont be able to cope with the studies and work.
I love IT, so i enjoy the teachin i receive at Deakin. We have the latest method of education and the lecturers are very helpful and nice, just what i want. Its a value for the money.
I love the bar facility. I drink beer before i go to class. I love my suburb. Its close to city and close to uni too. Accomodation is a little expensive but its ok. Finding part time is easy, i am yet to find one.... lol!!! We have DUSA as students union, am a crew member of DUSA.
Job prospects are increasing and at the same time more competition too, i want to graduate fast and get a job quickly. I will keep in touch with all my frens and join the alumni too.
