Course comprises both basic sciences and clinical exposure. The value gained really depends on the effort the student puts in.
I transferred courses within Melbourne University which made the application process easier as supposed to going through Victorian entrance selection.
I don't know anything about scholarships or funding but most universities have a student union who provide a lot of information.
The clincial exposure is invaluable and more time spent in the clinical environment far outhweighs book work.
It is a demanding course. It is not easy to find a job as it is difficult to fit in casual work in between.
Yes, I think that my job prospects have increased as a result of my studies. However, it was a little difficult obtaining a position after I finished my course.
