I am enjoying my life at Deakin by studing and receving the best education one can receive. I am really doing well academically. The most important piece of advice that i can give to the students is to - Study, work and Have fun - learn to keep the limits.
Selection process and gaining admission
I got a sponsorship from the State government. It took me around 6 months to land here. The government applied for me and I didn't have to do a thing.
Funding and scholarships
Well, I am already being sponsored by Indian State Government, so what more can i ask for.
Your study experience
My course is fun, if you like accounts and if you have done it in the past, its just helps you keep updated with the use of technology in accounting. Its really easy. The best bits are getting"HD". I study almost 20 hours a week and the lectureres are great people. I get everything i need to learn.
Your life experience
The facilities are great but i expected a bigger ground for playing cricket. we have range of clubs for different games, clubs and its good. My friends are indians and we rent a house and we live together- works out to be cheap. Finding part time is a bit tough as most of the jobs here as casual jobs. We have DUSA as students union and i am a member of it.
Job prospects
I intend to study further maybe move to the United States further to study. So far, its been realy fun studing here at Deakin and i will definitely keep in touch with my fellow mates by joining the alumni.
