rating

The best days of my life were at Deakin. I will miss my home - away from home - Deakin University. Deakin is the place to be, grab a beer, hang around with friends, go for drives, study hard and don't forget to party.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

The enrollment officers were very friendly and i enrolled on campus. The process was Pretty easy. I didn't have much, trouble enrolling as I met the requirements, so i advise the others to make sure that they do meet the requirements before enrolling.

ratingFunding and scholarships

About funding and scholarships, I am embarassed to say, I am being sponsored by my parents. Be good to your parents, they are the ones who will help you no matter what :).

ratingYour study experience

I am doing a degree in Science, its not very easy but the lectures are boring so are the lecturers. however, my frens are there to make life and study fun. On a balance its worth the money that i put in.

ratingYour life experience

we have huge facilities, and all i can say is come in and experience deakin life yourself. We have heaps of clubs and socities, I am a member of 5 different clubs and student union too. I work as casual duing my hols, i dont work part time cos i dont wanna mix my study and work.

ratingJob prospects

definitely, i can get employment in quality assurance, occupational health and safety, research, planning, management or marketing; in science related industries, working in pharmaceutical production or pharmaceutical sales; in biomedical science areas such as research or hospital and laboratory science; in quality assurance in analytical and diagnostic laboratories; in the food industry in quality control; in environment and natural resources, in teaching, information technology, mathematics or in science journalism to name a few. I will keep in touch with my batch mates on Facebook and the alumni too
