Faculties
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has continuously been evolving many of its programs and is proactive in adapting them to the needs and ambitions of the twenty-first century. The faculty comprises the Schools of Education, English, Media & Performing Arts, History & Philosophy, Languages & Linguistics, Social Sciences and International Studies.
The Australian School of Business is Australia's leading business school. Based in Sydney, the School offers a complete range of business degree programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education levels. The faculty has nine schools, nine research centres and four affiliated research centres with 220 full-time academics and researchers who are global leaders in their fields.
The students at the Faculty of Built Environment are encouraged to choose from a wide variety of electives to experience the full range of built environment as part of a truly interdisciplinary, cross-cultural education.
The College of Fine Arts (COFA) is one of Australia's premier art and design schools. COFA offers cross-disciplinary degree programs in visual art, design and multi-media through its academic schools: the School of Art, Design Studies, Media Arts, Art History and Art Education and COFA Online.
The Faculty of Engineering, the largest Engineering faculty in Australia, offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate degrees, including double degree programs. The faculty consists of ten schools and is associated with three research centres.
The Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales in Sydney is one of Australia's leading law faculties. The Faculty includes: the School of Law, the Australian School of Taxation and the Legal Research, Education and Advocacy Centres.
As one of Australia’s largest and most diverse medical faculties, the Faculty of Medicine enjoys close affiliation with a number of leading hospitals, research institutes and health care organisations. The faculty has nine schools, and a number of centres, including four national research centres, two institutes and numerous affiliated research institutes.
The Faculty of Science consists of nine Schools (Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences; Biotechnology and Molecular Sciences; Chemistry; Materials Science and Engineering; Mathematics and Statistics; Optometry & Vision Science; Physics; Psychology; and Safety Science) and the Department of Aviation.
UNSW@ADFA College is located within The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). The College comprises the Schools of Business, Engineering & Information Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Physical, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences.
